Siamo giunti a metà marzo e ci ritroviamo più o meno allo stesso punto dell'anno scorso, anzi direi forse in una situazione peggiore. I tempi sono stati molto veloci e il pacco è stato consegnato in condizioni perfette. All'interno della busta i quattro capi erano singolarmente piegati e imbustati e inclusi poi in un'ulteriore imballaggio. Voglio sottolineare questo aspetto perché non è sempre scontato: l'utilizzo di questi doppi imballaggi permette anche di preservare la merce dalle intemperie o accidenti vari. Per dirne una con un ordine di un'altra azienda ho ricevuto uno scatolo di cartone con vestiti non imbustati e mi è arrivato completamente fradicio. Colpa del corriere ma se fosse stato un imballaggio tradizionale (la busta) non sarebbe successo.

Packaging and shipping 

The times were very fast and the package was delivered in perfect condition. Inside the envelope the four items were individually folded and bagged and then included in a further packaging.  I want to underline this aspect because it is not always taken for granted: the use of these double packaging also allows you to preserve the goods from bad weather or various accidents. To name one with an order from another company, I received a cardboard box with unwrapped clothes and it arrived completely soaked. Fault of the courier but if it had been a traditional packaging (the envelope) it would not have happened.  

Passiamo al contenuto ossia ai singoli pezzi.

Da quando ero ragazzina avrei voluto avere la tradizionale salopette di jeans e ora sono riuscita a realizzare questo desiderio. Ero magrissima all'epoca, anche troppo e quindi non mi sarebbe mai stata bene addosso. L'ho trovata su questo store e mi ha subito conquistata. Ha uno stile street con strappi sulle gambe e l'effetto délavé. Ho preso come taglia la S ed è adatta anche a una 42 abbondante sui fianchi. Di gambe è un po' lunga però avendo già il risvolto ho potuto girarlo ulteriormente per adattarla alla mia altezza.

Let's move on to the content or to the individual pieces.

 Since I was a little girl I have wanted to have the traditional denim jumpsuit and now I have managed to fulfill this desire. I was very skinny at the time, even too thin, so it would never look good on me.  I found it on this store and it immediately won me over. It has a street style with tears on the legs and a faded effect. I took the size S as size and it also fits a large 42 on the hips.   The legs are a bit long, but already having the cuff I could turn it further to adapt it to my height.

Questo minidress è davvero carinissimo: tessuto in cotone caldo, con fantasia a quadri bianca e nera e tanti volant sulle spalle così come sulle maniche. Dato che a me piacciono più avvitati gli abiti ho messo questa cintura e la trovo perfetta. Con le calze nere e le decolté nere con laccetto alla caviglia il look è completo. Romantico e anche sbarazzino. 

This minidress is really cute: warm cotton fabric, with black and white checked pattern and lots of ruffles on the shoulders as well as on the sleeves. Since I like dresses more tight, I put this belt on and I find it perfect. With black stockings and black pumps with ankle strap, the look is complete. Romantic and also jaunty.

Questo minidress color cachi ha tante particolarità a partire dalla scollatura a v, per passare alle maniche svasate a metà lunghezza e infine i due nastri in vita da annodare come più ci piace rendendo l'abitino avvitato. Ci sono anche altri colori disponibili tra cui scegliere: nero grigio e verde.

 This khaki mini dress has many peculiarities starting from the v-neckline, to move to the flared sleeves at mid-length and finally the two ribbons at the waist to be tied as we like making the dress screwed. There are also other colors available to choose from: black gray and green.

Per un'occasione speciale o una serata quando si potrà tornare nei locali vi propongo questo abitino di colore grigio scuro. La parte di sotto è molto attillata, una gonna di cui è possibile accorciare la lunghezza grazie al nastro sul fianco. La parte di sopra ha un tipico taglio con maniche a pipistrello. Mette in risalto le curve senza stringere e grazie al drappeggio posso nascondere anche la pancetta! Con una bella giacca con bottoncini glamour si è pronti per una serata fuori.  

 For a special occasion or an evening when you can go back to the clubs I propose this little dark gray dress. The underside is very tight, a skirt whose length can be shortened thanks to the ribbon on the side. The top has a typical bat sleeve cut. It highlights the curves without tightening and thanks to the drapery I can hide even the bacon! With a nice jacket with glamorous buttons you are ready for a night out.

Quello che voglio mostrarvi oggi è il secondo ordine che ho fatto su Shewin, questa volta dedicato agli abiti. Come per la prima occasione anche questa volta sono rimasta colpita positivamente per il servizio di spedizione con corriere molto veloce. Per quanto riguarda l'imballaggio rispetto alla volta precedente non c'era il doppio involucro (busta del corriere e busta interna) ma solamente le singole buste con cerniera a scorrimento e l'involucro del corriere. Il tutto però è arrivato senza danni e strappi. I capi sono arrivati singolarmente imbustati, piegati e in ordine, non sgualciti se non per la camicetta di jeans che ovviamente essendo un tessuto più delicato facilmente restano i segni delle piegature eliminabili con una stirata. Voglio sottolineare che i capi non puzzano: quante volte ci capita di acquistare dei prodotti di abbigliamento e di ritrovarci quel cattivo odore chimico a volte difficilmente eliminabile con un solo lavaggio. In questo caso non ho avuto affatto questo problema.

What I want to show you today is the second order I made on Shewin, this time dedicated to clothes. As for the first occasion, this time too I was positively impressed by the very fast courier service. As for the packaging compared to the previous time, there was no double wrapping (courier envelope and inner envelope) but only the single envelopes with sliding hinges and the courier envelope. However, everything arrived without damage and tears. The garments arrived individually wrapped, folded and in order, not crumpled except for the denim blouse which obviously being a more delicate fabric easily remains the signs of the folds that can be eliminated with an iron. I want to emphasize that the garments do not stink: how many times do we buy clothing products and find that bad chemical smell that is sometimes difficult to remove with a single wash. In this case I didn't have this at all.

Passiamo ad esaminare il contenuto.

Poiché quando ho ordinato stava per arrivare la seconda ondata di gelo ho scelto due abiti dal tessuto più pesante da sfruttare subito, un abito in filo di cotone e un camicione in jeans per il periodo primaverile. 

Let's move on to examine the content. Since when I ordered the second wave of frost was coming, I chose two dresses with a heavier fabric to take advantage of immediately, a dress in cotton yarn and a denim shirt for the spring period.

Anche questa volta spicca la buona qualità dei tessuti. Non parliamo di lana ma di miscele di cotone ed acrilico però sono ben rifiniti e senza difetti di produzione. Per le taglie ho scelto tutte delle Small anche se risultano essere sempre un po' abbondanti (questo dipende anche dai modelli scelti) e per ovviare a ciò ho utilizzato dei cinturoni rendendoli così avvitati e aderenti oltre a dare un tocco in più.

Also this time the good quality of the fabrics stands out. We are not talking about wool but about blends of cotton and acrylic, however they are well finished and without manufacturing defects. For the sizes I chose all of the Small ones even if they are always a bit abundant (this also depends on the models chosen) and to remedy this I used belts making them screwed and adherent as well as giving an extra touch.

L'abito in bianco e nero con fantasia a quadri e maniche a palloncino è elegante e caldo, io l'ho abbinato ad un paio di calze nere con stivaletti e cintura in vita. Perfetto per una uscita serale. È il mio preferito di tutto l'ordine, un classico da avere sempre nell'armadio per le occasioni speciali.

The black and white dress with checked pattern and balloon sleeves is elegant and warm, I combined it with a pair of black stockings with ankle boots and belt at the waist. Perfect for an evening out. It's my favorite of the whole order, a classic to always have in your closet for special occasions.

L'abito color mattone con collo alto e manica a palloncino è abbondante ma in questo caso non ho utilizzato cinturoni e ho preferito abbinarlo ad un paio di calze più leggere con motivo decorativo e stivaletti ocra con laccetti. Adoro il colore, nella scelta sono uscita dalla mia comfort zone (di solito scelgo tinte più neutre) e ho fatto proprio bene! Il tessuto ha una tramatura con motivo a costine, è morbidissimo e caldo, segue le forme del corpo ed è super sensuale.

The brick-colored dress with high collar and balloon sleeves is abundant but in this case I did not use belts and I preferred to combine it with a pair of lighter socks with a decorative pattern and ocher ankle boots with laces.  I love the color, in the choice I went out of my comfort zone (I usually choose more neutral colors) and I did really well!  The fabric has a ribbed pattern texture, is super soft and warm, follows the shape of the body and is super sensual.

L'altro abito invece ha una lavorazione molto particolare con fasce orizzontali diversificate e alternanza di tre colori (azzurro beige e arancio). Questo ed anche la linea morbida mi hanno colpito e l'ho proposto con il cinturone e le calze marroncine con motivo geometrico. È possibile abbinarlo ad un paio di stivaletti beige tipo camperos.

The other dress, on the other hand, has a very particular texture with diversified horizontal bands and alternation of three colors (light blue, beige and orange). This and also the soft line struck me and I proposed it with the belt and the brownish socks with a geometric pattern.  It can be combined with a pair of beige camperos type boots.

Infine un classico delle mezze stagioni: il camicione di jeans da indossare come vestito, con la bordatura sfrangiata un po' di ispirazione hippie. Presenta una leggera decolorazione sulle spalle e il colore è molto chiaro, primaverile. È possibile indossarlo anche con un gilet o un maglioncino, per un look più sofisticato o più easy. 

Finally, a mid-season classic: the denim shirt to wear as a dress, with the fringed edging a little hippie inspiration. It has a slight discoloration on the shoulders and the color is very light, spring. It is also possible to wear it with a vest or a sweater, for a more sophisticated or easier look.

Nel complesso tutti i capi mi sono piaciuti e permettono di creare vari look mixandoli con accessori easy o classici. Sono nel complesso molto soddisfatta e ancora una volta Shewin non mi ha delusa. Vi consiglio di dare un'occhiata alle proposte on-line soprattutto in vista di nuovi arrivi per la primavera estate.

Overall I liked all the items and they allow you to create various looks by mixing them with easy or classic accessories. I am overall very satisfied and once again Shewin did not disappoint me. I suggest you take a look at the online proposals especially in view of new arrivals for spring summer.

My Winter Skin Savior by Facetheory

Eccoci dopo quasi un mesetto dall'ultimo post. Ci sono state le festività natalizie e ho voluto dedicarmi alla famiglia sospendendo un po' l'attività del blog ma ora rieccomi pronta a ripartire per presentarvi nuovi prodotti provati per voi!

Oggi il tema è prettamente legato alla skincare e a un brand che ho scoperto il mese scorso, Facetheory.

Il brand è inglese ma spedisce in tutto il mondo i suoi prodotti a base di ingredienti naturali e certificati. L'attenzione alla formulazione priva di parabeni, siliconi, PEG, SLS, SLES e oli minerali va di pari passo con l'ecosostenibilità del packaging (privilegiando l'uso del vetro e dell'alluminio). E sono prodotti cruelty free. Già con queste premesse si parte benissimo!

Ora passiamo ai prodotti che ho ordinato, tenendo conto delle mie specifiche esigenze.

Ocuwake Eye Cream EYE1

Avere le occhiaie è già una condizione con cui convivo da sempre, se a ciò si aggiunge il gonfiore diventa una vera tragedia! La nuova crema contorno occhi di Facetheory è la mia salvezza:

 La formulazione è a base di attivi quali vitamina C (per il potere schiarente), acido ferulico, liquirizia e camomilla (lenitiva) e ingredienti all'avanguardia come esilresorcinolo (per illuminare le occhiaie e le ombre inibendo la produzione di melanina) e Meiview (per rassodare e levigare il contorno occhi stimolando la produzione di collagene).

Texture leggera, si assorbe facilmente e basta un piccolo quantitativo (come consigliato dal brand, essendo ricca di attivi) da picchiettare sul contorno occhi mattina e sera. Dopo già una settimana i primi risultati si notano sull'idratazione dell'area perioculare e sul colorito delle occhiaie più attenuato. Ha un vago odore di camomilla e non ci sono profumi aggiunti.

 Packaging semplice e tubetto in alluminio, viene fornito con un beccuccio con tappino bianco che permette di erogare la crema con precisione.

Hand Care set: 

Chirocleanse Hand Wash + Chirosmooth Hand Cream

Questo Natale mi sono regalata un set dedicato specificamente alla cura delle mie mani. Come avete notato spesso torno su questo tema in quanto soffro tantissimo di ragadi e secchezza estrema con il freddo.  

In questo cofanetto troviamo:

Chirocleanse Hand Wash a base di aloe vera e pentavitin (bioattivo naturale di origine naturale), formulato per l'uso frequente, purifica e protegge la pelle dalla perdita di acqua. La schiuma che produce è delicata e lascia la pelle pulita e morbida.

Chirosmooth Hand Cream con peptidi derivati dalla fermentazione del riso coreano, olio di crusca di riso e 5% di urea vegana, per lenire e idratare la pelle ruvida, secca o screpolata delle mani. È inodore e magari per molti potrebbe essere un punto a sfavore mentre per me invece è l'ideale. L'idratazione è istantanea, la pelle secca si distende subito e riassume un colorito vivace.

Buon pomeriggio a tutti, manca davvero pochissimo alle festività natalizie e quest'anno l'atmosfera non sarà quella degli altri anni: semplicemente festosa, spensierata e senza problemi. Cosa ho scelto

Ho selezionato tre maglioni e sono rimasta soddisfatta pienamente per l'alta qualità e l'estetica.

Non emanano forti e fastidiosi odori come mi è capitato per altri capi.

Non mostrano imperfezioni o errori di produzione. 

Passiamo ad esaminarli singolarmente.

What I chose I selected three sweaters and I was fully satisfied with the high quality and aesthetics. They do not give off strong and annoying odors like I have with other garments. They do not show imperfections or production errors.

Let's move on to examine them individually.

Il maglione dolcevita oversize di colore beige è il mio preferito. Da notare i dettagli della lavorazione sui bordi di maniche vita e collo con arricciatura all'esterno. Adoro la lavorazione del tessuto che è anche abbastanza doppio e caldo, adatto proprio al periodo invernale.

The Beige Oversized Chunky Batwing Long Sleeve Turtleneck Sweater is my favorite. Note the details of the processing on the edges of the sleeves, waist and collar with shirring on the outside. I love the processing of the fabric which is also quite double and warm, suitable for the winter period.

Questo invece è un pullover lavorato a maglia di colore rosso e bianco con questa lavorazione a blocchi cromatici che sfumano. Guardando da vicino il maglione si può osservare bene la complicata lavorazione che è molto ben fatta e senza imperfezioni. Io amo il rosso e appena ho visto questo maglione Mi ha conquistata.

This instead is a red and white knitted pullover with this color blocking that fades. Looking closely at the sweater you can see the complicated processing which is very well done and without imperfections. I love red and as soon as I saw this sweater it won me over.

Infine il pullover a collo alto di colore grigio con maniche ampie: la lavorazione arricciata del collo è la sua particolarità ed è per questo che l'ho scelto, ha un taglio romantico ed elegante. Mi piace che il tessuto sia a costine elasticizzato con questa fascia bianca centrale.

Finally, the Gray Color Block High Neck Pullover with wide sleeves: the curled neck is its peculiarity and that's why I chose it, it has a romantic and elegant cut. I love that the fabric is stretch ribbed with this central white band.

Nel complesso sono soddisfatta del rapporto qualità prezzo dei prodotti, sono economici e abbordabili, possiamo trovare ciò che ci serve e ci piace grazie al vasto assortimento e per questo vi invito a tenere d'occhio questo shop, soprattutto in vista degli imminenti saldi!
